Akinori Dress  sewing pattern is a wide sleeve wrap-dress that hugs the waist with a belt. The elegant yet straightforward wrap dress is designed for lightweight woven fabric but works equally well in jersey fabric without lycra.

Although sewing the wrap dress sewing pattern does not take much time, bagging and turning the front yoke takes some practice.

 

Fabric and notions

Choose a lightweight woven or jersey fabric. Choose silk, cotton, viscose, or any other fabric with a beautiful drape. If you sew the garment in jersey fabric, it is an excellent idea to size down one size. Choose interfacing that is compatible with the weight of the fabric.
